In 1971, Mark moved to Kamloops from Lloydminster, Alberta. He graduated from Kam High in 1974, attended Cariboo College from 1974-1976, and then founded The Fireplace Centre at its original Valleyview location in February 1977. Mark has his “Doctorate” of Woodstoves, is WETT Certified, and is the Past President of the HPBAC – BC/Yukon Chapter (2005-2006)
When he isn’t busy with Industrial Real Estate development or the store, he is probably golfing, jet-boating or fishing in the summer, or traveling to his 2nd home in Palm Springs – (more golfing!) in the winter.
